The Bachelor
of Interdisciplinary Studies (B.I.S.) program demonstrates the necessity of being a well-rounded
individual with critical thinking skills. It shows that successful results happen
when you incorporate the perspectives of many different disciplines.
I selected this program
of study because it allowed me to use the classes from the engineering degree I pursued when I first attended college. I did not enjoy this course of study and ultimately abandoned it. Using these credits allowed me to pursue this new program which has enhanced my ability to see different
perspectives and apply concepts in new and different ways.
